Reports to: VP of Business & Client Solutions
Position: Contract/Remote

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide day-to-day management of marketing for Sustainable Brands, PBC.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans and schedules for all product lines, including SB events, membership, and digital offerings.
  • Implement and manage integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs ensuring alignment with company goals and revenue targets.
  • Partner with line of business leaders, and graphic design manager, to understand product strategy, identify marketing opportunities and recommend priorities.
  • Oversee demand generation strategies for key business areas, including events, membership, sponsorships, and digital revenue streams. Measure and report on results towards established KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the content team for copywriting support and content creation across platforms, including email, landing pages, editorial articles, video assets, press releases, and ad copy for use in customer acquisition, conversion, and retention marketing.
  • Manage the SB social media strategy and execution, collaborating with the content team, support resources, and external partners as needed.
  • In collaboration with the leadership team, develop and refine product positioning, define audiences, and align messaging for Sustainable Brands products and services to drive engagement and growth.
  • Own marketing database strategy and audience segmentation to enhance targeted campaigns and optimize performance across Events, Newsletters/Digital, and Demand Generation.
  • Lead the Ad Manager platform, ensuring inventory optimization, ad placement efficiency, and revenue growth.
  • Analyze, create testing plans, and track the effectiveness of marketing plans and campaigns to optimize performance and maximize conversions.
  • Provide post-event and/or product performance analysis and reporting to inform future strategies.
  • Provide marketing teammates marketing teammates with assistance in workload and project prioritization and timelines (i.e. graphic designer and website developer)

Deliverables & Success Metrics:

  • Drive event attendee ticket sales to meet or exceed budgetary goals.
  • Maintain and manage the annual marketing calendar across events, demand generation campaigns, newsletters, and SB Member communications.
  • Design and implement promotional pricing strategies to maximize event revenue and overall company profitability.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and ensure data-driven decision-making. Revise plans as needed based on progress to goals.
